Mindful Cards for Parental Well-Being From February 2025 to June 2026

About the project

The UP project aims to create a digital deck of cards for professionals supporting parents, with a focus on rainbow and blended families. It seeks to equip professionals with inclusive tools to enhance parental well-being, encourage peer support, and foster personal growth.The project also aims to provide accessible resources for non-traditional families, ensuring diversity and inclusion are fully addressed in parenting support.

What we aim to bring to the world

Through collaboration with expert partners, we will co-create this digital card deck, identifying key parental needs in non-traditional families. The process includes an action research phase, engaging parents to test and provide feedback to ensure the cards are relevant and impactful on their transformative parenting journeys.This card deck will be freely available online, compatible with multiple devices, and complemented by practical resources for using the cards in one-on-one or group settings.Special focus will be given to adult educators to maximize the impact of these tools.

As we develop the digital card deck, we are committed to:

  • Engaging 10 external organizations working with non-traditional families to ensure content relevance and to actively promote the card deck.
  • Inviting 60 parents to participate in 8 parents‘ circles, allowing direct engagement and feedback for defining the cards.
  • Hosting an event to introduce the platform to 80 adult educators, showcasing the usability and advantages of the digital cards.
  • Offering 500 accesses to the e-platform, providing access to the digital cards and additional valuable resources.
